Project Overview
Mahmutlar is a holiday village in the province of Antalya. The scope of the project was the construction of the open-sea wastewater discharge line of Mahmutlar. Project also included a small conduit line between the water treatment plant and the shore.
A ship-mounted clamshell was utilized for underwater excavation and backfill in this project. A total of 1,300 meters of pipe is laid underwater; 550 meters of which is buried and the rest is exposed, tied to concrete submerging blocks underwater.
