ALANYA – ANTALYA, OPEN SEA WASTE WATER DISCHARGE PROJECT


Alanya is one of the most important tourism centers of Turkey, located on the Mediterranean cost, in the province of Antalya. The scope of the project was the construction of an additional opensea wastewater discharge line, as the present line was not sufficient.

A suction dredge and a ship-mounted clamshell were utilized for excavation and backfilling. Water was diffused at a distance of 2 kilometers from the cost and at a depth of 55 meters.
